Salix, often called Willow, is a genus of deciduous trees and shrubs known for their graceful form and flexible branches. Willows are excellent choices for large landscapes, frequently used as shade trees or specimen plants. They produce attractive catkins in early spring that are vital for pollinators and have gorgeous green foliage in the summer. Their ability to thrive in wet conditions also provides year-round interest and habitat for wildlife!
