Pinus – Pine

Pinus, or Pine, is a genus of evergreen trees identified by their long soft needles and distinctive cones. They are ideal for use as shade trees, foundation plants, or small ornamental trees, thriving in both large and small spaces. Pines provide year-round interest with their beautiful green needles and large ornamental woody cones. Additionally, a few species are native to the Midwest, offering habitat for wildlife and supporting pollinators.
