Corylus, also called Filbert or Hazelnut, is a genus of deciduous shrubs and small trees valued for their edible nuts and attractive form. The Turkish Hazel Filbert thrives in adverse conditions, including drought, and is windproof with clean foliage and charming spring catkins. Ideal for hedging or as small ornamental trees, they adapt well to a wide range of pH soils and are free of pest and disease problems. The attractive furrowed bark adds another great feature to this resilient tree.
