Asimina - Pawpaw

Asimina is a small genus native to Eastern North America. The common Pawpaw tree is one of the most widely planted and encountered species of the genus. They grow in clumps as understory trees in forests. The fruit of the common Pawpaw is edible. These trees have insignificant flowers, but absolutely gorgeous bright yellow fall color!
