From emerging trends to classic styles making a comeback, this conversation will dig into how tastes in plants and garden design continue to evolve. If you’re at the show, join us bright and early on Wednesday morning!
Where We’ve Been
January 27-28, 2026 in Bloomington, IL
InVigorateU is one of our favorite ways to kick off the new season. This annual education conference hosted by Landscape Illinois brought together nursery and greenhouse professionals, landscape contractors, and garden center folks for two days of learning, networking, and collaboration. The emphasis is on plants, but the sessions spanned everything from native oaks to pest management to the business side of growing. We enjoyed the industry round tables, the keynote sessions, and of course, the plant trivia night at Lil Beaver Brewery!
January 28-30 in Springfield, IL
Joey and I attended the Everything Local conference that offered a diverse lineup of educational sessions, covering specialty crop production, business development, agritourism, financing opportunities, and more. The highlight of the conference was getting to connect with creative entrepreneurs and organizers who are thinking outside of the box when it comes to specialty crops and agriculture. Whether you’re a grower or simply passionate about food, Everything Local emphasized one key takeaway: collaboration is essential to reimagining our agricultural systems in Illinois for the betterment of our communities. We left feeling energized and full of new ideas, eager to connect with others and contribute to the growing movement supporting local, sustainable agriculture for all!
We value these events because they give us a chance to learn from others in the field, hear about new research and best practices, and stay connected to the people and ideas that push our industry forward. Every conversation we have at these shows, whether it’s about tree selection, growing techniques, or the challenges we’re all navigating, helps us grow and better serve our customers. We come to listen as much as we come to share!
