Our SGN Sales Yard is continuing to fill up with a spectacular selection of trees fresh from the field! This beauty here is Acer platanoides ‘Deborah’. Her leaves emerge reddish-purple but will turn to a dark-green in the summer. The Deborah Maple is a quick grower and a dependable tree in the landscape.

Our new ABOVE GROUND counts are estimates, and we will continue to count up trees next week as they come in from the field. Give us a call anytime 815.448.2097 to schedule a pick up from the Sales Yard!

We are currently taking orders for Fall of 2025 and Spring 2026, so now is the perfect time to send over your tree requests for both seasons. New estimated FIELD counts will be available soon. We look forward to growing for you!

The SGN Sales Yard is open, and the trees are putting on a show! 🌸🌼🌺

Crabapples are blooming, Serviceberries are preparing for their June berries, and the Ivory Silk Lilacs and Lindens are getting ready to blossom in a few weeks! As our crews work through the fields to finish digging this season’s crop, another team follows closely behind, carefully moving each tree to our staging area or into the Sales Yard with the help of tractors, hayracks, and a whole lot of teamwork.

The result is a yard full of freshly dug, balled and burlapped trees, all on irrigation and ready for your next planting project. These trees represent years of care and planning, and now they’re ready to find their new home.
