This video shows our recent flooding from area storms that ripped through Grundy County on the evening of June 22, 2015. We were lucky here at the nursery to have only sustained flooding. A tornado touched down just 1 mile east of the nursery & then again in the community of Coal City causing widespread devastation. Becky’s dad shot the video while flying over the nursery in his gyrocopter. You can see from the pic at the beginning of the video showing the flooding the morning after the storm. By the next day when the video was shot most of the water had subsided due to our good drainage. We are looking forward to drier days ahead!
