At Spring Grove Nursery, Arbor Day is more than just a holiday, it’s a reflection of everything we believe in: growing healthy trees, deep roots, and strong communities. Each year, we’re honored to be part of the many meaningful Arbor Day celebrations taking place across Illinois, and this spring is no exception!

We’re proud to supply trees for several community Arbor Day events happening throughout the region. From local villages to schools and arboretums, these plantings highlight the collective effort to green our neighborhoods and invest in a healthier future. Here are just a few of the celebrations featuring trees from our nursery:

• Klehm Arboretum – Join in Rockford for their Arbor Day Celebration, a community event full of nature walks, giveaways, and family fun.

• iTrees.com – Supporting Arbor Day planting projects across multiple communities
• MVK Elementary School – Chris and Marlee’s daughter Sky is in fourth grade, so she gets to choose the Arbor Day tree planted at the school this year! Keeping the family tradition going since we started when Maggie was in Kindergarten
• TiTi’s Playschool – Fern & Benji’s daycare!
• And many, many more…!

We’re especially grateful to the municipalities, park districts, schools, and organizations who continue to trust us to grow the trees that take root in their landscapes. Seeing students, volunteers, families, and staff come together with shovels in hand is a reminder of how trees bring people together, and how the simple act of planting can create lasting change.
