Spring is in the air and we are looking forward to warmer weather ahead! Soon our farm will be filled with the hustle and bustle of the new season – digging, loading, and shipping out our large B&B trees from the field, and receiving truckloads of new bare root liners to plant! We love this time of year and the excitement it brings for everyone to get back outside. If you’ve already started thinking about your gardening and landscaping projects, make sure to check out our curated selection of container and bareroot trees available for preorder and pickup by appointment starting the last week in April!
This season we will have native shade and fruit trees in our holding yard ready to find their new homes! In partnering with our liner suppliers, we are bringing in high quality, ready to plant container and bare root selections. Potted trees are easy to transport and plant on your own, and make a wonderful addition to your yard. We have a variety of Maples, Oaks, and Elms as well as Northern Catalpa, Common Hackberry, American Beech, Moraine Sweetgum, Tulip Tree, Crabapple, Black Tupelo, Prairie Gold Aspen, Shawnee Brave Bald Cypress, and clump and tree-form Serviceberry. This year we have some new native varieties that we’re excited for like Pawpaw, Hardy Pecan, and Shagbark Hickory!
Apple pies, cherry tarts, pear crisp, peach cobblers – these delicious desserts are in your future when you plant your very own orchard in your backyard! Take your pick from our selection of bare root or potted apple, cherry, pear, and peach trees to get your garden growing!
Fruit and shade trees are excellent native pollinators, make great gifts, and are fun for the whole family to plant together. For pricing details see our WEBSITE AVAILABILITY.
