Our above-ground sales yard is stocked with our beautiful specimen 2-4” trunk caliper trees, but did you know that we also carry a diverse selection of high quality potted & root-bag trees, too? 🌳🪴

We source our SGN Canopy Collection from our liner suppliers, working with the best starter nurseries in the tree-biz to offer a smaller, DIY-friendly option for planting projects. Container trees can be easily handled and planted by 1-2 people; the only equipment needed is a shovel and some elbow grease! 🪏💪

Whether you’re looking to round out a municipal planting with some younger trees, wanting to start a backyard orchard or agroforestry project, or looking for a unique Father’s Day gift, we have an excellent array of potted shade, ornamental, and fruit trees looking for their new homes! 🌳🪴

And just like that, June is almost here. Our Tree

And just like that, June is almost here. Our Tree of the Month for June is the Autumn Brilliance Serviceberry. It brings beauty across all seasons, which makes it one of our favorite trees at the nursery! With delicate white spring flowers followed by edible red fruits in June, to a fiery red-orange glow in the fall and smooth gray branches adding winter interest along with a strong structure that resists ice breakage the Serviceberry is a versatile and excellent Midwest Native tree. Serviceberry performs well in our field; we grow both single trunk and multi-stem versions. It has a slow start as a young plant but it finishes strong. The single trunk form takes a little longer to caliper up than the multi-stem. We love how this tree has something interesting to offer in every season – especially in the summer when the berries are a nice treat in the field!

We are well-stocked with a great assortment of trees ready to ship! If you would like to see a picture of something, let us know and we will take one for you. 📸

We work very hard to maintain our trees so they are fresh and ready to ship when YOU need them. We use drip irrigation and keep the balls in good condition to ensure a healthy specimen tree all season long.
