Looking for something fun to do this summer? The IGIA Summer Conference (Illinois Green Industry Association) is August 11-14 in Springfield, IL. We have attended the Annual Summer Conference for several years now with our kids, and we have really enjoyed the time spent visiting with fellow Green Industry friends.
The IGIA does a great job making sure that the event is always a family-friendly conference, and most members bring along their kids. This year is no exception with the entire event being centered around the Illinois State Fair!
Golf, garden tours of the executive mansion, state fair concerts, dinner at Walker Standardbred horse farm, more golf, and a tour of Earl Cully’s nursery, Heritage Trees, are just a few of the conference highlights – not to mention all of the fun state fair activities thrown in!
