It was a perfect fall day last week to help prep our Nationals-bound local Seneca FFA team for their upcoming Horticulture Nursery/Landscape CDE competition. The team qualified to compete at the National FFA Convention this week in Indianapolis. They needed some guidance in the areas of pruning & bare root planting. We had fun teaching them a few things and giving them the chance to try their pruning skills out. They were naturals!

We are so proud to announce that the team took 3rd place in the nation this week!!! And for the individual competition, Calvin Maierhofer placed 7th!!! Way to go kids!!! Our horticulture industry will be in good hands with youth like these coming up!
