Maclura pomifera ‘White Shield’ – White Shield Osage Orange is tough as nails. This genus can thrive in areas most trees cannot and was developed at J. Frank Schmidt Nursery. The glossy green foliage turns yellow in the fall. Unlike the genus, this cultivar does not bear fruit or thorns.
