Acer pseudosieboldianum x palmatum ‘Hasselkus’ – Northern Glow Maple is a hybrid of Japanese & Korean Maples that was developed in Madison, WI by Dr. Ed Hasselkus with seed originating from the tough and cold hardy Korean Maple. The form is upright, broadly spreading with a unique leaf shape that is bright green in the summer. In fall, this specimen glows with brilliant fall colors ranging from bright orange to deep red.
