Dear SGN Customers,
We want to reassure all customers that farm operations at Spring Grove Nursery will proceed as usual in regards to digging your spring order. Earlier this week we had already put in place necessary procedures & resources for our employees to work in a safe environment, and we will continue to do so going forward. Protecting our employees & our community is extremely important to us. It is also crucial that we provide the trees you need to be successful on your projects this season. As we are all aware, our Green Industry here in Illinois will face new challenges during the start of our spring season. We intend to do everything we can to support you and provide you with the excellent trees & customer service that you depend on.
We have always believed the Green Industry is the best possible industry to be working in. The collaboration, innovation, and perseverance that our colleagues display every day have helped us all weather many storms together, both literally and figuratively. We will get through this one together as well. The plants & services we all provide to our communities are invaluable. We hope that in the long run, the beauty we all work to grow will indeed be what brings people the calm, health, and peace we all know a green landscape delivers.
Rest assured that we will be responsibility and diligently working to prepare your order, just like we do every spring. If your timeline of receiving will change, please be in communication with us so that we can appropriately stage and care for your trees in the meantime. Good communication though these next few weeks will help us all insure a smoother season ahead. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns. As we look ahead to this week, our new liners are on the way to the nursery to be unloaded & planted in coming days. We will be planting a full crop into our fields this spring for future years, and we can’t imagine a brighter look ahead than that. Stay safe and best of luck in the coming weeks.
