As July settles in, the nursery is buzzing with activity under the summer sun. With our spring dig season behind us and fall prep still on the horizon, July is all about maintaining healthy trees and tidy rows.

The trees have been soaking up some sunshine and heat, which is adding some good growth and caliper. It’s the time of year when we shift gears into focused care and upkeep, and our field crews are hard at work!

Leaf by Leaf: Book Club Recap 🌳📚 We had such a wonderful time at our very first #LeafByLeaf gathering!

A group of 11 readers (9 in person, 2 virtually) joined us to explore The Hidden Life of Trees by Peter Wohlleben...a fascinating look into how trees feel, communicate, and thrive in the forest. 🌲

With yummy food and drinks to keep us fueled, and some thoughtful, fun questions from Maggie to guide the conversation, we dug deep into the secret world of trees together.
