Our Tree of the Month (Crabapples) continues with a spotlight on: Malus ‘Jewelcole’. This photo was taken from our Sales Yard this week.

Red Jewel Crabapple has profuse white flowers in the spring followed by bright red fruits in fall. The bright green foliage looks clean all season long and turns a delightful yellow in the fall. We have these available in our sales yard now. Just give us a holler!

Our SGN Sales Yard is continuing to fill up with a spectacular selection of trees fresh from the field! This beauty here is Acer platanoides ‘Deborah’. Her leaves emerge reddish-purple but will turn to a dark-green in the summer. The Deborah Maple is a quick grower and a dependable tree in the landscape.

Our new ABOVE GROUND counts are estimates, and we will continue to count up trees next week as they come in from the field. Give us a call anytime 815.448.2097 to schedule a pick up from the Sales Yard!

We are currently taking orders for Fall of 2025 and Spring 2026, so now is the perfect time to send over your tree requests for both seasons. New estimated FIELD counts will be available soon. We look forward to growing for you!
