Would you like to get a windbreak established on your property? Or maybe you need to add another row to your existing windbreak. At SGN Trees, we have some beautiful, locally-grown evergreen trees available this spring for planting. Choose from smaller potted evergreens similar in size to what we plant out into our field or larger balled & burlapped specimens. Either way, we have several options for all price points or planting abilities. We can also arrange for delivery or planting through one of our local partners if you need help getting your trees in the ground.

All evergreens are dig-to-order, and we are making our harvest schedule now. We are starting to take pre-orders and will continue to accept orders throughout the month of April. We anticipate our evergreens will be available for pick up in early May. The #3 container trees will be around 24-36″ tall and can physically be lifted up by 1 person. The balled & burlapped evergreens range in size from 4′-6′ and weigh around 400-600 lbs each so picking up with a truck & trailer is advisable and having equipment on hand at the site to move them around is necessary.

When planting a windbreak, we recommend spacing trees no closer than 14′ apart, but you can certainly space them further apart to allow for future growth. Staggered rows are popular to enhance the visual barrier if you have enough room to allow for a double row.
