We recently came back from a great trip to Oregon with the kids before school started. We made our way down the Oregon coast to the California Redwoods – we just had to see those trees! They were unbelievable & it is definitely something everyone should experience. Many of the trees were 2000-3000 years old – amazing! We also went on a 3 day whitewater rafting trip down the Rogue River in southern Oregon. We all had individual kayaks & paddled 41 miles of beautiful scenery & rapids – we even saw a few bears!
We ended the trip with visits to a few of our liner suppliers – Carlton Plants & J. Frank Schmidt Nursery. We had great tours there by friends Dick Bocci, Travis Orback, & Nancy Buley. You can see some video highlights on the video tab of our website in our September 2010 Video.
Here a few photos from our adventures – enjoy!
